Medicare.gov (http://www.medicare.gov/)                                                                                              Medicare.gov is a consumer beneficiary Website that provides access to information about Medicare, Medicare health plans, contact information and publications, as well as information about health care fraud and abuse and nursing homes.

CMS-Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (http://www.cms.hhs.gov/)                            CMS-formerly known as the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA), is the federal agency responsible for administering the Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP (State Children's Health Insurance), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Amendments), and several other health-related programs.
